Last year during hunting season Arby’s tested the venison sandwiches and they were only sold in a handful of states. According toÂ Arbyâs Chief Marketing Officer Jim Taylor they sold out within minutes.
Now Arby’s is releasing their venison sandwiches nationwide. The venisonÂ sandwiches will be available on Saturday, Oct. 21 inÂ all 3,300 restaurants across the country. They are only available while supplies lasts and will likely to sell out quickly. So if you missed out on it last year, now is your chance. Just be sure to be first in line.
“IfÂ people are interested in trying the sandwich, the only way to guarantee they can get oneÂ is to getÂ there when we open or a little before and make sure they are in line, just like the folks last year,” Jim Taylor said.
Arby’s user a supplier in New ZealandÂ that sellsÂ grass-fed free-range venison. According to Jim itÂ it took a year to secure enough product for what he believes is the “biggest venison promotion in the world any restaurant” has ever done.
The venison sandwich features a thick-cut venison steak and crispy onions with a berry sauce on a toasted roll.
Also, a limited-edition Elk Sandwich will be available in three restaurants in the states of Colorado, Wyoming and Montana.
